Project Description

Almost a decade ago, Programmed was engaged to perform a complete exterior repaint, and building works on the high-rise building as part of a broader long-term property maintenance services arrangement. This project involved both construction and concrete repairs, as well as balustrade replacement.

The quality of work our team has delivered over this time has seen Sandy Point Beach Resort renew the contract.

Project Solution

The on-going maintenance Sandy Point Beach Resort engaged us to implement has helped them prevent the build-up of significant replacement and repair works and the associated additional expenses. This has enabled them to save thousands of dollars in remedial concrete repairs.

Amidst the unprecedented times of COVID-19, we worked with the Sandy Point Beach Resort to make the most of the situation and effectively address some of its associated challenges.

As a result of lowered occupancy during COVID-19 for this site which primarily operates as a timeshare accommodation facility, Programmed worked with Sandy Point Beach Resort’s management to bring forward scheduled maintenance works. As a result, we have been able to carry out a majority of work while visitors are not utilising the building, thus helping the site prepare for an effective return to business when the COVID-19 pandemic passes and travel restrictions are lifted.

Project Outcome

Through flexibility and close consultation with the customer to understand their needs and change schedules to meet their requirements, we were able to navigate these unknown times to carry out the building, and repainting works efficiently and effectively.
